The Intel Computer Clubhouse NetworkThe Belfast Computer Clubhouse is part of the worldwide Intel Computer Clubhouse Network which has positively changed the futures of young people in over 100 disadvantaged communities in 22 countries across 5 continents. This global network aims to create and sustain interdependent “Communities of Learners” of young people in disadvantaged areas. On the 1st August 2005, the Belfast Computer Clubhouse opened on the peaceline between the Falls and Shankill Road in Belfast. The Belfast project is located in two centres on either side of the peaceline and has the additional important objective of promoting cross community relationships. |
