A New Member of the Clubhouse Staff
Elizabeth is the newest edition to the BCCH Coordinating team and March will see her travel to the Museum of Science in Boston, America to receive her Coordinator Training. Elizabeth will meet with other Coordinators from all over the world giving her the chance to share her experiences with others from the Clubhouse network.
Since graduating in 2004 from the University of Ulster Belfast with an Honors Degree in Fine and Applied Art she has worked with several community projects in a variety of roles some of which include facilitating on projects based on 'Cultural Identity' with an urban twist, teaching art processes to women in the local community and designing back drops for annual community productions. Elizabeth held her first solo exhibition in the first year of her studies and received much media attention, which resulted in her being approached by the BBC to take part in a televised interview.
She is now an executive member of the Castlereagh Arts Forum, helping promote the verbal and visual arts in her own area.
